Narcissistic abuse counselor Emma Davey

Surviving a narcissist

Narcissistic abuse sufferers don't have to have black eyes or broken bones to be a victim. Most of the time, they walk around with a smile on their face and insisting they're fine. Coming to terms with being abused is one of the hardest things you will ever do. But it can be done, and Emma is proof.

The tools that helped Emma

These are some of the tools that helped Emma get her life back. They're included free when you sign up for a subscription to the MyNARA app. The tools are part of a comprehensive recovery plan that will guide and support you on your journey.

Daily journal

Making notes about your day or recording incidents of abuse can help you process your thoughts. Studies have found that journaling can improve physical and mental health.

Red flag log

Red flags are warning signs that indicate unhealthy or narcissistic behavior. They are not always recognizable at first — which is part of what makes them so dangerous.

No contact counter

Recovering from a narcissist is one of the most difficult things you will ever do. Once you exit, it is important to create distance between you and your partner.

Professional standard of care

Emma has experienced narcissistic abuse herself and can relate to every single ache you suffer. After a personal journey of self-discovery and healing, followed by rigorous academic training, Emma now dedicates her working life to counselling people suffering from narcissistic abuse. Her Facebook group (VONA) and TikTok videos support tens of thousands of narcissistic abuse victims and survivors worldwide.

Emma is a narcissistic abuse counselor, certified by the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP). She received a Diploma of Counselling from the Government of Western Australia, and is recognized as one of the world’s leading experts on narcissistic abuse.

Emma is an advisor to the UK government and has won multiple awards for her work, including "Best Online Narcissism Abuse Support Provider 2023" and "Most Compassionate Narcissistic Abuse Recovery Provider - London 2022," both by Global Health & Pharma Magazine's (GHP) Mental Health Awards, as well as Corporate LiveWire's Innovation & Excellence Award 2022.

Counselor partners in the US, UK and Australia worked with Emma on the development of the MyNARA app and use its unique NarcArmor™ 12-phase program in their own counselling practices.
